Dr. Arya was principal of a renowned degree college, D.A.V college for boys, Chandigarh for 19 years. He taught Biology and Spirituality for 30 years. He has authored several books. He is associated with university governance and is Director to hundreds of schools all over India. He is a recipient of many awards and honors for excellent work with young students. At present Dr. Arya is President of Dayanand National Academy of Environmental Science, National Acting Chairman of Panchnad Research Institute, and an active member of Society for Promotion of Science and Technology in India. Dr. Arya is a firm believer that Man is a triple unity of Body, Mind and Soul. Being in a state of health means no discord in the harmony of life. Dr. Arya is often involved in seminars, discussions and interactions with youth regarding mental and emotional health. He believes that “Mind the Mind” is just what should be prescribed to the youth to help develop their attitudes and responses so that they have an effective conscience, are productive, realistic, independent and practical. His motto for us is: “तत् मे मन: शिवसंकल्पमस्तु।” (what you decide in your mind is what you get in your life). Dr. Kohli is currently Vice Chancellor to Central University, Punjab and has been the founder Vice Chancellor of D.A.V University, Jalandhar. He is the Dean of Instruction and Research for the Punjab University, Chandigarh and is also the chairperson and convener of several vocational studies and environmental committees. A winner of numerous honours and awards, Dr. Kohli is a firm believer in progress via youth empowerment. Dr. Dhavan is a Senior Consultant and Gastroenterologist from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He is an expert in Hepatology. He has been the Chairman of The Indian Medical association and is proprietor of the Dhavan Nursing Home, Chandigarh. Dr. Dhavan has always been an advocate of quality education as he believes that it refines the essence of humanity. He passionate about bringing awareness about substance abuse and addictive behaviors in the youth. Dr. Rai is a psychiatrist currently working with offenders suffering with mental, illnesses. He has worked in various psychiatric settings over the last 15 years. His work includes not only clinical responsibilities but also teaching and administrative duties. He has an ongoing interest in quality improvement and service development. He has worked in India for many years after getting his doctorate but now works in Australia. He is keen to assist Mind the Mind in this venture and sees this as an opportunity to bring about a change in our society.
